NK Jemisin has breathtakingly portrayed her imaginative concept into the story. Successfully winning the Hugo Awards for Best Novel in 2016, The Fifth Season follows the concept of the world’s end. Just in a single day, a woman comes home to find her son brutally murdered and her daughter kidnapped, The Fifth Season (catastrophic climate change) takes place with a supercontinent called Stillness. Now, this woman must hide her secret power and survive the deadly dying land where there is no sunlight, clean water, very less basic resources for which every survivor is ready to kick-off the war, and many more just to find her missing daughter. Terry Pratchett’s one of the best works, Night Watch depicts the dramatic, wise and sober voice fully realized. Pratchett, best known for humor in his Discworld series, he has also written painful realities, fantastically immersive emotions in situations that are generally not found in most of others humorous fantasy. Night Watch novel includes time travel which brilliantly grips the attention of the readers. The story begins in the present where Sam Vimes is commander of watch and is married with a child on the way.  At one moment, he is chasing a trickster named Carcer who never gave up. A fantastic fantasy adventure novel, Life of Pi is a story about a Tamil boy named Piscine Molitor Patel. Yann Martel’s Life of Pi won Man Booker Prize for Friction in 2002. The story revolves around Piscine Molitor “Pi” surviving 227 days along with Richard Parker, Bengal tiger in a lifeboat. Pi is son of a zookeeper and accommodates an encyclopedic knowledge of animal behavior which helps him coexist with Richard Parker on a single boat, lost at sea for 227 days. After finally reaching the coast of Mexico, Richar runs to the jungle and is never to be found again while Pi is interviewed by Japanese authorities but doesn’t believe his story. But after hours of pressurization Pi convey the Japanese authorities with a different and less fantastic story.
