No wonder, Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women is simple yet a masterpiece. Alcott through the book depicts the struggles and devotion of the 4 March sisters.  In absence of a father who is a chaplain in the Civil War, to support the family of 5 seemed a difficult task yet the courage and unity of these sisters to hold on to the situation is quite complimentary.

Grown-up Margaret aka Meg as well as  Tomboy Josephine aka Jo, are involved in a job to support their mother while shy & sweet music lover Beth takes care of household works and rathe-ripe Amy is attending classes.  Their nearest rich neighbor Mr. Laurence lived with his shy grandson Laurie.

Laurie was as the age of Jo and was taught by Mr. John Brooke. As they all started to grow up, Laurie started falling for Jo. On the other hand, Meg and John fall for each other and get married. Laurie gets rejected by Jo but somewhere in the story falls again for Amy and hence marries her. While Bet dies of sickness.
